Thomas Wall

Died on the 19/07/1917 after being discharged on the 13/06/1916

The Battalion arrived at Le Havre on the 19/12/1914 and were part of the 82nd Brigade, 27th Division. Thomas arrived in France on the 16/02/1915. The Battalion then moved to Salonika arriving in early December 1915. On the 02/11/1916 they transferred to the 31st Brigade, 10th (Irish) Division. Thomas was part of the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force from 27/11/1915 until he was sent home on the 20/05/1916. There is NO LISTING of Thomas on the CWGC site. Thomas' Service Record, Medal Index Card and Service Medal and Award Rolls states he was DISCHARGED on the 13/06/1916. Service Medal and Award Rolls state reason was "sickness". Service Record states it was "being no longer physically fit for war service". Thomas died on the 19/07/1917 according to his Pension Record.
